The Denver Public Library’s (DPL) newest branch is nearly complete! Come see the new location during the grand opening celebration of the RiNo ArtPark for a couple of days of free fun that includes sculpture reveals, musical performances, yoga, bounce houses, a book sale and more. Visitors will also get a chance to see DPL’s Bookmobile, as well as Denver Public Library Friends Foundation (DPLFF) staff and volunteers at a pop-up book sale. Whether they want their face painted or not, book lovers should come to the RiNo Art Park to grab a deal on some used books. The sale runs Saturday, September 25, and Sunday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A variety of used adult and children’s books will be available for only $2 to $3 each. All of the books for sale are retired from the library’s collection or were kindly donated. Proceeds from the sale will benefit DPL and the soon-to-open Art Park Branch Library.
