Used Book Sale

The 2018 Winter Used Book Sale was a huge success! We raised over $40,000 in five days. Thank you!

The next sale will be June 5-8, 2019. Check back for more details.

Interested in volunteering? We host individuals and groups from schools, organizations and companies throughout the Denver Metro Area during the book sale. Volunteer signup begins in May 2019, but call ahead to schedule your group or to get your name on the list.

Parking and refreshments are complimentary for volunteers. If you sign up for closing help on June 8, you get a free box of books! All volunteers, teachers and DPL Staff receive a 25% discount during the sale (not including the Red Chair Bookshop.)

Our summer and winter used book sales are four-day events that attract nearly 16,000 combined visitors, representing a wide demographic.
