Volunteer at the Library
Become a Volunteer
The Denver Public Library’s Central Library and its 22 branches reflect the diversity and interests of our customers. We need volunteers for the Library who will share their love of books, language and culture; volunteers who enjoy assisting at our many events; and volunteers who want to work with the public and the staff to assist customers in using the Library’s many resources.
Many Places, Many Choices
Work at your neighborhood branch or at the Central Library. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with book sorting, customer service, homebound services, maintaining clip files, organizing manuscript collections, and reading to children in our Read Aloud program. We also need volunteer assistance with our exciting special events, such as the Used Book Sale, the Booklovers’ Ball, and the Rare and Not-So-Rare Book and Art Auction.
To volunteer, please call the Denver Public Library Volunteer Office at 720-865-2043.
