5 Ways to Support Denver Public Library During National Library Week

Friday, April 5

National Library Week (NLW) is upon us! From April 7-13, NLW is a weeklong celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, library staff, and elected officials play in transforming lives and strengthening communities.

Here are 5 ways to show your support for Denver Public Library (DPL) during NLW:

  1. Right to Read Day - Monday, April 8
  2. Watch the State of the Library Address video featuring Denver Public Library’s City Librarian and Executive Director Michelle Jeske and the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation Executive Director, Jeff Riley. The video will be released on Right to Read Day on Monday, April 8!

Library staff members smile for the camera while sitting at an event and holding a plaque.
    2. National Library Workers Day, Tuesday, April 9
Say thank you to a library staff member on National Library Workers Day, Tuesday, April 9. This is the day to show appreciation and gratitude for everything the DPL staff do for the community and their customers. 3. National Library Outreach Day, Wednesday, April 10
